Leena Salman
RESEARCH, LEARNING, AND STRATEGY ASSOCIATE
Leena works at the intersection of research, learning, and strategy at Kaarvan, contributing to the design, documentation, and strengthening of its social impact initiatives. Her role is anchored in building knowledge systems that not only capture impact but also inform how programmes evolve—ensuring that learning is continuously translated into more effective and responsive interventions.
She supports research studies, programme learning, and strategic planning across initiatives backed by national and international donor partners. Working closely with programme and field teams, Leena helps surface on-ground insights and transform them into evidence-based recommendations, strengthening decision-making processes through data analysis, reporting, and structured learning frameworks.
Prior to joining Kaarvan, she worked as a Curriculum Developer at The Citizens Foundation, where she contributed to the development of educational content and learning materials. She holds a BSc in Economics with a minor in Sociology from Lahore University of Management Sciences, and has completed the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s in Economic Policies for the Global Transition. Through her work, Leena brings a systems-oriented lens to development—bridging research, policy, and practice to strengthen impact at scale.
