Jawaria Rana
PROJECT MANAGER
Jawaria Rana is a development professional working at the intersection of women’s economic empowerment, sustainable enterprise development, and inclusive policy. As a Project Manager at Karvaan, she leads multi-provincial initiatives that support rural women entrepreneurs—creating pathways for growth through mentorship, capacity building, and enterprise development programmes.
Her work is grounded in collaboration, engaging closely with partners, donors, and government stakeholders to design and implement inclusive interventions. With a strong focus on equity, she works to ensure that women from marginalized communities, including women with disabilities, are not only included but meaningfully supported in building and scaling their enterprises with confidence.
Bringing experience across programme implementation, policy research, humanitarian-responsive initiatives, and donor reporting, Jawaria combines analytical insight with on-ground execution. She plays a central role in coordinating partnerships, strengthening implementation frameworks, and ensuring that programmes translate into measurable, lasting impact for women-led businesses.
She holds a Master’s degree in Business & Public Policy and is deeply invested in exploring how policy, markets, and community-led enterprise can intersect to drive sustainable social change. For Jawaria, empowering women economically is not just an outcome—it is a catalyst for transforming communities and creating more inclusive futures.
