Huma Zahra

PROJECT ASSOCIATE

Huma is a dedicated development practitioner, working at the intersection of community mobilisation and women’s economic empowerment. Rooted in the field, her work focuses on engaging directly with communities—listening, building trust, and translating grassroots realities into meaningful opportunities for women.

She plays an active role in designing and delivering entrepreneurship, training, and awareness programmes that enable women to build skills, confidence, and pathways to income generation. Through her on-ground engagement, Huma supports women in navigating challenges, accessing resources, and participating more actively in local economies.

Her approach is anchored in community connection—ensuring that interventions are not just implemented, but understood, owned, and sustained by the women they are designed for. Through consistent field presence and facilitation, she contributes to creating spaces where awareness leads to agency, and participation evolves into long-term empowerment.
