PROGRAMS MANAGER
Sumeera’s energy and heart is evident in the fieldwork of program implementation and operational tasks. Working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and regional coordinators she creates and implements effective operational frameworks and processes that help make the program run smoothly while building the rural women’s confidence. Her responsibilities also include project management, planning, execution, coordination, evaluation and inspection.
Before joining Kaarvan, Sumeera has more than 17 years of extensive work experience in the social and educational sector. She has worked with The South Asian Business Association and Thread Works USAID in rural areas of Pakistan. She has also devoted six years to the realm of education, instilling a love for learning, to 9th and 10th graders of Government Schools. She holds a MSC in gender and women studies.
Sumeera’s smile and demeanor are infectious! She simply becomes one with the environment, with the people — no matter where that is whether it’s at the head office or some remote village. She becomes the confidant of the female trainees — creating a safe space for learning, exchange and personal development.
